What people are saying about Paris

Great Day Trip on the Burgandy Wine Tour

Our driver and travel guide was Hanna, and she was excellent. She was very attentive to the group and very knowledgeable about the wines and the region overall. The cellars and caves are very cold, so I recommend you take a warm jacket. It was a rainy day when we went and perfect for the wine tastings. We stopped for lunch at the village of Noyers where there is a couple of food options including a full service restaurant which we tried and loved!!! This village was quite a site to see because it is as time stopped here. We saw almost no locals only tourist stopping by. The wines we tasted were mostly white and quite good. Overall a great day trip to the wine country in France.

Marion Rame was an extraordinary tour guide

We had the most most wonderful time at Versailles. Marion met us at the metro station and was delightful and immediately brought us into the world and history of Versailles in such an appealing and enthusiastic and passionate way. Our group was so impressed with her and her knowledge and her way of explaining in such a manner that kept us engages for any hours....despite the distraction of rain, crowds and stuffiness inside the palace since it was so muggy with the rain. If we go back to Paris....we would love to have Marion be our guide for other tours.

Fun tour for all but limited real involvement

All the ingredients are already measures and made prior to families stirring, pouring or rolling so while you do get involved it wasn't at the level we expected. In addition unlike a gelato and pizza class we took you don't get the recipes afterwards. This is fun and interesting to see how the process is still so manual and by hand with over 2000 baguettes made daily. The yummy takeaway bread is a nice touch.

Very good one-day snapshot of the region showing big and small.

Vincent was a very knowledgable guide who covered much more than just champagne production. The contrast between the big winery and the small family run wineries was very interesting. My only criticism is that I should have been warned of all the steps. I have bad knees and would have brought my stick with me if I had known.

Learned a lot about wine, guide was fun and very knowledgeable.

My daughter and her fiancee did the tasting first and enjoyed it so much my husband and I decided to try it. We both enjoyed it as much as they did. Get the additional cheese plate it was yummy too. My husband's hard of hearing, the guide let him sit next to her, made a great experience. I definitely recommend this tasting.
