Full description
Escape the hustle and bustle of Parisian life and enter into the Garden of France. Stroll the walkways of the French monarchs, hear tales of royal love affairs and kidnappings, and behold the beauty of the Loire Valley's exquisite Chateaux.

First stop of the day is Château de Chambord; the perfect example of French Renaissance architecture, this remarkable structure was built by King François I between 1519-1547 and is the largest château in the Loire Valley. Who designed this masterpiece is still in dispute, and with contenders including Leonardo da Vinci, its sights are sure not to disappoint.

Next up is the charming Château de Chenonceau, a true fairy tale castle set picturesquely on the Cher River, its history and character has been shaped by the women who've inhabited it. The site of the first ever French fireworks display, Chenonceau is really one to fall in love with.

You can stay at each château for around an hour to explore inside, and see the gardens at your own pace. At the end of the day, you will leave Chenonceau at 6:15 PM to arrive back in Paris at around 8:00 PM.

The activity is amazing. Visiting the castles in December is even more so because they are decorated. Very comfortable transport, with wifi and cell phone connectors. The incredibly friendly, attentive guides with a perfect command of Spanish-English-French. The punctual departure. Delicious and abundant three-course food. Consider that it is an activity that takes all day.

Good 1 day tour. Although it is a bit extensive, especially the return that is 3h30m to 4h, there is enough time to walk, photograph and enjoy the castles. As for the audits, unfortunately the day I went they did not work (and there was no refund directly), however, in Chambord I paid for an audio guide that I thought was others. Although it had a lot of information, it was a tablet, hung around the neck and activated only when passing from one space to another, which cut the story that one was listening. In addition, although I found that the visit times were adequate, they were not if you want to listen to that complete audio guide (I imagine that the one that included the tour was shorter). In the second castle I preferred to visit it without audio guide, and it was better for me, also because the brochure with the map of the castle has enough information. The bus and the disposition of Sebastian, who supported the visits (it was not a guided tour), at a very good level.

The tour met expectations. But I recommend doing this tour in two days, from the city of Tours. I did it from Paris, for the day, and it comes out very tiring, it's 3 hours of travel, 5 of tour in two castles, and 3 hours back. The ideal is to do at least 3 or 4 castles, but in two days. In any case I visited two beautiful and very different castles, Amboise and Chenonceau, and it was worth it!
