What people are saying about Palazzo Strozzi

Wonderful way to get oriented to the old town, with a marvelous guide.

Wi fi earbuds a real plus -- always could hear well. Guide (Helma) was very knowledgeable and personable -- I enjoyed hearing her stories. The schemes and competition of the Medicis and other families truly came to life. Timing was perfect, and I enjoyed the gelato at the end. We went back the next night for more gelato too.

Enchanting and interesting. Great experience,!

Our guide Stefano was engaging and knowledgeable. The backstreet stories were fascinating and the gelato at the end was deliciousl. . Couldn't recommended this tour... Or guide... Highly enough. Thank you for a brilliant evening!

Fun and intriguing look in scandal, murder and feuds.

Helma our guide was enthusiastic and eager to share her love of this old city with our small group of 7. She was so animated and engaging with her tales that she kept us in suspense throughout the entire tour. We learnt about feuds, affairs, murder, scandal and burials. I would recommend this tour as a fun alternative. Complimentary gelato at the end was a nice touch. Ask for Helma.

Fab, informative and thoroughly enjoyed.

We loved it. Great to get to know a bit more about the city. Some more gruesome aspects. A great way to learn about the city but not get sun burnt! Loved the ice cream at the end also. A nice touch. Thank you

Different kind of tour. Thoroughly enjoyed

Not the straight on Florence history tour, takes you through the lesser known streets with different stories. The guide Angelo A gave it everything he got. Not really for kids, unless you are okay with stories of prostitution with the Church's blessing, drugs, the favored method of Florentine execution (skinning alive), affairs and nazis. This is the Dark Side after all...
