Meet your qualified green (or blue) badge guide at Martyrs Memorial on St Giles for a 2-hour walking tour of Oxford with emphasis on the filming of Morse/Lewis and Endeavour. Your guide will give a brief introduction to the city and the university, and from here you will head off through the very heart of Oxford to explore locations associated with the filming.

You will see many of the colleges (from the outside), as well as The Bodleian Library, Old Schools Quadrangle, The Weston Library and The Radcliffe Camera.  Other sites will include The Bridge of Sighs and many of the pubs where the words ‘pint Morse’ were often spoken!

Each tour is different, a script is not followed, and the best route will be chosen on the day to give you the very best experience. With your guide, visit inside a college or university building used for the filming (subject to availability - on certain days in Oxford it may not be possible to visit inside a building).

Do the tour!

Do the tour! Elizabeth Hudson-Evans was brilliant. She was very personable and delightful, very clued up on Morse, Lewis and Endeavour, details of episodes et al; obviously a fellow enthusiast. Her incidental stories and anecdotes about the actors, production team, writers all added to the enjoyment of the tour. Elizabeth is a total professional but not dry dull and going through the motions like some; quite the opposite. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you Elizabeth for a most enjoyable afternoon. Kind regards Nigel, Ian and Derryn Few UK and Canada

Great tour with a friendly and informative guide

We went on the walking trip at the beginning of November and booked through 'get your guide' with my husband and 11 year old daughter. I am a massive fan of both Morse and Lewis, and Elizabeth the guide was great; informative of not only Morse, but of Oxford and how the University and colleges work and she was also incredibly engaging and friendly, with a great sense of humour. My family had never seen a single episode (I watch all the boxsets in the peace and quite of the kitchen whilst cooking!) but Elizabeth kept my daughter entertained with snippets of information regarding Harry Potter, Tolkein etc throughout the trip, and even managed to pique my husbands's interest in the films (we are now both watching them from the start!) Thank you Elizabeth I loved every minute of your tour...can’t wait to return for the Hathaway tour ;-) (fingers crossed!!!)
