Full description
You'll travel back in time to the days when togas were all the rage on this tour of Istria. You'll visit Pula to explore the enormous Roman Amphitheatre accompanied by costumed gladiators. The gladiators are more than happy to pose for photos and you won't have much trouble imagining the ancient contests held in the arena.

Next, you'll head to Rovinj, sometimes known as little Venice. This tiny, picturesque seaside town is crowned by the 18th century Church of St. Euphemia surrounded by Venetian-style terracotta roofs. Inside you'll discover narrow cobbled streets, colorful buildings, and camera-worthy scenes everywhere you look. You'll also enjoy a delicious Istrian lunch before heading back to the Opatija Riviera.
