Full description
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Olympic National Park on a half-day guided tour that begins and ends in Port Angeles, WA. Select one of these unique sightseeing and hiking experiences from the tour schedule:

Wednesday - Lake Crescent & Marymere Falls 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM:
After a scenic 35-minute drive from Port Angeles, arrive at one of the most picturesque destinations in Olympic National Park at Lake Crescent. Upon arrival, have 20-30 minutes to explore the shorelines of Lake Crescent, walk into the historic Lake Crescent Lodge, and enjoy a picnic lunch (available for purchase or you can bring your own).

Then, your naturalist hiking guide will lead a 2-3 mile guided hike throughout the mossy old-growth forests that surround Lake Crescent. Aside from the impressive 300-foot tall old-growth evergreen trees and lush green terrain that surrounds you, the highlight of the hike is climbing the nature stairs to various viewpoints of the 90-foot tall Marymere Falls. After enjoying the falls and taking an alternative scenic loop back to Lake Crescent, then return to the modern van for transportation back to Port Angeles.

Thursday - Hurricane Ridge 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM:
Go from sea-level in Port Angeles to 5,242 feet elevation at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center in just 45 minutes on a simply breathtaking mountainous drive in Olympic National Park. Weather permitting, Hurricane Ridge provides one of the best sweeping vistas of the Olympic Mountains in the park, as well as stunning ocean views looking toward Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

Upon arrival, take the first 20-30 minutes to marvel at these views, explore the Visitor Center, and enjoy a picnic lunch (available for purchase or you can bring your own). Your naturalist hiking guide will begin a 2-3 mile hike along the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center trails toward Mount Angeles, where you can immediately enjoy spectacular views with a 5,000-foot headstart. After the hike, the group will enjoy a scenic drive back down to Port Angeles descending along the beautiful Morse Creek valley.

Friday - Sol Duc Falls 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM:
A scenic 1-hour and 15-minute drive will take you around the southern shoreline of Lake Crescent and deep into the old-growth forests of the Sol Duc Valley. The drive is split up with a stop at the Lake Crescent Lodge for 20 minutes of sightseeing and to enjoy a picnic lunch (available for purchase or you can bring your own).

Upon arrival at the Sol Duc, hike alongside towering 300 foot tall Douglas Firs and Western Hemlocks until you reach the iconic Sol Duc Falls. After exploring the various Sol Duc viewpoints and some nearby trails, the 2-3 mile hike will conclude back at the trailhead for the beautiful drive back to Port Angeles.
