Full description
Start your tour at an exquisite tiny bridge, the Shah’s Palace and a globe supported by the two mighty Atlantis from the 19th century. Head to the Vorontsov Palace, former residence of the governor of the city and the Novorossyisk houses. On the way, see the apartment house of the young Odessa. Head to the Duc de Richelieu monument and descend the 192 Potemkin Steps, the gala entrance to the city for those who arrive in Odessa by sea. See the Ekaterina Square and its recreated monument to Queen Ekaterina II.
Marvel at the Pushkin statue and the imposing Odessa City Hall. Head to the Archaeological Museum, see the famous Opera and Ballet Theatre, designed by two Viennese architects Helmer and Felner. Move on to the Preobrazhensky Cathedral, destroyed by Stalin and rebuilt in 1999. Explore at your leisure as you walk through the Passage, a lavishly ornamented shopping mall and hotel built in 1899. Visit the stalls in nearby Sobornaya Square to find that perfect souvenir.
Drive to the Odessa Shustov Cognac Factory via picturesque Odessa streets. The oldest cognac production plant, and a flagship in the Russian Empire, Shustov's brandy won the Grand Pris in the World Exhibition in Paris.
