What people are saying about Oceanographic Museum
Drivers very polite, buses very frequent and on time. It is a perfect way to see a new place - you just would not see it all exploring on your own. My only negative would be its a shame there wasn’t a bit more commentary - there is alot of classical music played between the talking and I would have liked some more interesting facts, not necessarily historical facts - just interesting ones. Grace Kelly marrying into the royal family wasn’t mentioned - also no other information about the royal family and what they do. It’s a shame a “live” guide isn’t on these buses as they tell you so many interesting and quirky facts but I realise its not practical because of all the languages you need. We did this same bus in Nice the week before and I would say the same - great route and great for seeing a new place but could do with a few more bits of lightweight information.
I'm glad I didn't listen to some friends that told me that the best way to get to Monaco from Nice, is taking the train. DON'T! This all day boat trip, will show you much, much more than just Monaco. It's worth every cent! If you want to see the riviera, celebrity homes, some of the most beautiful yachts in the world in action, not just sitting in a port and the most expensive property in the world, this is the way to do it, trust me, you will not regret it, we loved every minute of it and would do it again any day.
Thought this was a fun experience, it would be useful if Get Your Guide could clearly tell people they need to use their QR code to get tickets in advance of boarding. We only found out as a lady in the queue told us! Otherwise we probably would have missed the boat. There is NO information telling you this, and it was a lengthy wait at the ticket office to get the paper tickets. I don’t know why they don’t accept the QR code in this day and age - it’s archaic the way they run the ticketing system.
Brilliant way of seeing the coast, friendly helpful boat staff, and a great commentary of the sights along the cost on the return trip. Not to be missed.
Really enjoyed the ferry trip and was a great way to get to Monaco. Definitely was enough time between pick up and drop off.
