What people are saying about Norðurland eystra (North-East Region)

The trip was excellent, we were so impressed about Iceland.

Our guide and driver, Mr. Hjalti Björnsonn was outstanding, really top-top. He took care about us on an excellent way till the very last minute, his knowledge about Iceland was fantastic! He gave us a few extra chances to see even more, than it had been promised. Everything was precisely organised, we were really satisfied. We do hope so, that he will be our guide our next Iceland trip again in sometime next February. The only remark is the overused and that's why a bit uncomfortable seats. After 2-3 hours travelling we were happy to stand up. The hotels were nice, most of them were really excellent.

First class tour which gave a great flavour of this wonderful country.

Paul was an excellent guide giving us all a well balanced tour of this area with a good amount of relevant information without overloading us. We were fortunate that we had our best day of weather on our cruise and we made the most of it enjoying the incredible views from the mighty Godfoss falls, geyser's and lava fields to the panama's around each bend in the road.

Amazing trip with great guides and stunning views!

We have been on other whale watching trips in the world, but this one was awesome! Not only did we see a few humback whales, but the views are beautiful! It was also a great surprise that we were able to fish and to ha e cooked up for us. Well worth the price and going to Northern Iceland was well worth the trip! Highly recommended!

Saw about 5/6 humpbacks; 2 v good at synchronised swimming.

Easy to book online. Warm overalls to wear outside. Bit slow to find whales, about an hour. But then followed a pair for some time as they dived and came up again. 4 instead of 5 as friends saw humpbacks, minke and puffins from a trip in Reykjavik. Appreciate it's the luck of the draw.

A wonderful experience watching whales and fishing .

Breathe taking experience especially for us Asian who rarely have chance to watch whale in the sea. Fishing is also great especially for my teenage kids. We also got to taste those fresh fishes that we caught BBQ prepared by the staff.
