What people are saying about Nonomiya Shrine, Kyoto
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Japan! Our tour guide, Yasuna, was very friendly and knew Arashiyama from a young age, so her knowledge of the sights we saw was brilliant. We discovered Arashiyama from a quieter perspective than if we had done the exploration ourselves, so this was a real bonus. The food was delicious and a real insight into local street food. We were only in Kyoto for the day, so we would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wanted to see the sights of Arashiyama in a short space of time. A really fantastic tour
It was truly an experience like never before! We were able to enjoy the beautiful Bamboo Forest fully minus the walking and going thru the crowd of people. Our guides, Nabe and Daici were funny and entertaining, speaks English so well sharing with us the history of places as we paszed by, took our family pictures at great spots, give us insights on Japanese lifestyle and cultures. Our 8 year old son was so happy on the rickshaw. Truly, it is a must have experience for anyone who visits Kyoto!!
This was a great tour. Lots of fun. Yuya and Yoshito were excellent guides with a good command of English. They were very friendly and professional, and so polite! They even took wonderful pictures, especially in the bamboo forest. Amazing! My 3 teens and I loved the 2+ hour tour. We were going to take the electric bike tour and took the rickshaw tour instead. Absolutely no regrets. highly recommend it. Ask for Yuya and Yoshito!
In the days leading up to our Rickshaw Tour through the Bamboo Forrest, the company was very communicative and helped us with directions. Our guides, Kota and Kiyo, were helpful and entertaining. They took amazing photos of our family and looked up plant species when we had questions. Our only regret is we wished we had booked a longer tour. Our guides worked so hard to make sure we had a great time.
My driver Nabe san was amazing. He knew lots about the surrounding area and was so nice and informative. I did the 130minute slot and it was so worth it. Nabe san had me laughing and learning Japanese slang as we toured. I would highly recommend this experience!
