National Gallery and British Museum: Tour
- Small group
- Duration: 5.5 hours
Me and my 8yo son went on a bus twice(would go more, but ran out of time), second time we were lucky to have a young man (26.10 12pm blue line) as a guide , and he made our ride so much fun and fascinating! If you go, try to use one with a guide instructor! The buses have 4 different routes( if I’m not mistaken) drivers are also very helpful! We didn’t go to a meeting point, You just Hop On, on any bus stop, and we found them everywhere
Superb, Fernando down from Euston station was brilliant in explaining it all to us - sat 29 Alieta??? On bus to Tower of London was amazing - service was phenomenal and so well organised. Really enjoyed it - Cruise was a bonus - just 1 grumpy driver from westminstervbridge to abritish museum as we were a bit slow realising it was our stop would definitely recommmend and use service again, it was smashing
The tour was good, took you past all the sightseeing things, was really easy to get on and off, however the service finished at 5:30, which wasn’t clear, 24 hour ticket doesn’t mean 24 hours a day and I got stranded on the other side of London from my hotel, so had to jump in the map and navigate the old fashioned way Loved the live tour guide, although the audio was also good
Good tour both the recorded guide and the live guide were informative. Currently not all of the stops are stopped at and the bus is intermittent. We weren't told this on booking. We ended up missing out on some of the things we wanted to see and couldn't get to the stops for pickup in the afternoon so walked back and got the tube to places we wanted.
Easy, a great way to see the city if you don’t have a long time to visit. Wear the headphones if you don’t have a guide, you learn so much more about the city and can discover other places to visit. The map provided on the bus was easy to use and the employees stationed at each stop were super helpful in answering questions.
