Don’t buy tickets here, you pay 24e for a basic ticket (18e on location), but the full experience ticket there on location costs 22e, plus they do not say anywhere that european citizens under 25 have resuced ticket to 2e, so we as a family of two parents and one 22 year kid overpayed 36e and didn’t eaven get the full experience. Don’t recomend buying here. Otherwise the site is worth seeing, the history just screams out of the buildings, just be coutius where you buy tickets, i sugest on location in Pompeii.

Always wanted to go to pompeii and it was a great experience! Was some construction going on when we went in February 2024. We were told to boom tickets in advance but when we arrived it was very quiet, no queues, very few people in the ruins. If you are going to Rome or anywhere in Italy, it is well worth the time and easily accessible trains to get to Pompeii! Amazing experience!

Excellent trip. Highly recommend it it was a a real adventure bullet train from Rome to Naples shuttle bus to Pompeii (GYG) spent around 3 hrs there would of needed a few more but happy with what I saw and the downloaded audio helped

As it was February there weren’t any queues to negotiate but I would highly recommend you book tickets via this option for busier times of the year

Tourist guide was great, tumorous, excellent customer skills, very patient. Will use him again n deserve a pay increase.
