What people are saying about Murano
It was nice and easy to meet at the meet-up point, a bit difficult to follow the tour guide to the boat as there were a lot of people all walking in different directions - busy part of Venice. Once at the boat she checked through all the different languages and was very good at speaking with everyone. We all got on the boat and had a smooth ride over to Murano. The tour guide told us the plan and the time to be back at the boat. We went in to a glass blowing factory and watched the amazing demonstration of a man making a vase and a horse out of glass, we then went through to a little gift shop. I took a walk down the main street to take some photographs and then headed back to the boat. We then went on to Burano, I personally think 1.5 hours is plenty of time to spend on this island, it's easy to walk around the whole thing in that time and is very busy. Overall I'm so pleased to have done it. Nice break away from Venice to see more.
Our guide Alessandra was exceptional- she was fun, energetic and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to get to know each participant and answer all questions. She even gave us some personal recommendations for Venice. Both islands were great but the glass factory on Murano was the highlight of my time in Venice!

Our guide was very informative. We really enjoyed our morning trip. Highly recommend.
Well organised. The live commentary was good to understand. Beautiful shop on Murano with great opportunity to buy some really beautiful affordable items. Passing bu other islands with some commentary on what they are. On Butanol we had more time and cou”d either visit lave making place or have fantastic seafood in one of the many places.
