Full description
You'll be picked up your desired location in Mumbai before being driven to Mumbai Airport, where you will fly to Delhi. From the airport in Delhi, you will be driven for 3 hours via express highway, to bring you to the city of the Taj Mahal, Agra.

With your tour guide you will explore the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) — one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and arguably the most extravagant expression of love ever created. After the Taj Mahal visit, go to Agra Fort (another UNESCO World Heritage Site). Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. Lunch is available at one of the best local air-conditioned restaurants (at own expense).

After sightseeing, if time permits, you can enjoy shopping in Agra, which is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work. After a memorable day, drive to Delhi and be dropped off at Delhi airport for your flight to Mumbai, before arriving in Mumbai airport and being dropped off at your hotel or desired location.
