What people are saying about Milan

Beautiful overview of select parts of Lake Como

Decided to book this day tour to explore Lake Como and get out of the city of Milan for a day. The instructions provided with ticket were clear and easy to find the pickup location. Didn't know what to expect in terms of tour size, which ended up being about 30+ people. Our guide, Sonia was very nice, knowledgable and answered any questions the group had. Only wish we had more time on the boat ride and saw more of the different villages via boat vs. sitting on the tour bus!

Note; cover your shoulders and legs to the knee

Tour was very good. It would be wise to warn participants that in order to enter the Duomo and the church near the Last Supper, you must have your shoulders covered (no sleeveless or spaghetti straps allowed) and shorts/skirts must reach the knee. Bring a scarf or jacket to cover bare areas. In other cities, they sold disposable covers - none could be found here. Don't be left outside!!

great areas to visit--uninterested tour guide

Visiting Genoa and Portofino were amazing but unfortunately our tour guide Eddie was not really interested or engaged in the tour. He was very snippy and hard to approach with questions. He made us feel uncomfortable. But all in all, these coastal cities were breathtaking and are a must see!

Jo is the best well-informed, funny and kind tour guide ever.

I loved our entire trip. Every sight was beautiful and our tour guide, Jo, was very knowledgeable about architecture, history and film sites. I would have loved to spend a little more time in Switzerland and sightseeing the other side of lake como. But all in all I would recommend Jo.

So much information and inspiration alltogether

Marica is an incredible guide who knows a great deal of each site and links places to history in a marvelous way. Tracking the history of Milan is not easy, neither from a political nor from a religious perspectiva but she made it so easy for us, we just loved it.
