See the 1000-year old hermitage of Bandovas, which was built like a cave system. You will also see the Byzantine Church located in a small neighborhood of Kalambaka, which was built over ancient ruins. Wonderful and very interesting journey’

This was a really wonderful journey! Our guide Chris is very friendly guy with excellent sense of humour, but moreover he is brilliant storyteller who loves the land where he is living in. We have seen a lot of great sights of Meteora, visited Saint Stephen monastery and apart from that one “surprise” was waiting us - visit to the Byzantine church at the foothills of Meteora mountains with splendid frescoes from the Comnenos period till the recent times. I can recommend this tour to everyone who likes nature, history and art. And many thanks to Chris!
