What people are saying about Medellín

This was a great tour to learn about the history of "he who must not be named" and how he affected Medellín and Colombia as a whole. It really opened my eyes how inaccurate the world's media has portrayed their culture and the historical events that occurred. We got to places that were a pertinent part of Escobar's timeline and we got to see how it is now and how the people view those places. Esteban was a fantastic guide and he was very knowledgeable about not only the topic, but of other questions we had of the city and country. It was a small group (4 of us) and it was nice to be able to ask whatever questions we had and to learn in depth about the huge impact this person had on their country and culture.

Oh wow. What an interesting excursion. My friend and I ended up being the only two on the tour--even through a third tried to join us and was told the tour was sold out. It was a little awkward as we had just come from the area we were headed on bikes (unbeknownst to us) so we were both kinda like--oh we've been here.... It was super fun riding around Medellin at night. Oh our guide Christian took us to this OUTSTANDING areapa place on the street. OMG it was so good. THAT made the tour worth it!

Walter was a fantastic guide through this beautiful neighborhood. The only disappointing part (and this is true for all tours) are the "suggested" stops for souvenir shopping. Step away from those places and go to the not "sponsored" stops for souvenirs. The inclusion of snacks was a surprising treat. I'd suggest heading to Comuna later in the day if possible because it's packed with tourists in the morning. As the day went on the crowds lessened and it was more enjoyable.

Excellent organization and clear explanation. I felt as if I am in a movie telling the history of Medellin in its worse and best moments. Carlos, the superb guide, even assisted me how to go to the Football game following the tour.

Fantastic tour, guide was one of our best in Colombia. History, local art and open to questions with a realistic and honest perspective. We’re still thinking about the delicious snack stand that was included in the tour cost.
