What people are saying about Marrakech

Great little walk around the mountains and insight into local culture!

Good value trip to see some of the countryside outside Marrakech. The stops on the way were good for photos of the views and the little oil production talk was interesting. Didn't feel pushed into buying anything, although did get a souvenir anyway. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we spoke in both French and English. I don't think we would have been able to learn as much if speaking in just English, but could have discussed most things without a problem. Again there were items for purchase on our walk to see the falls and around the villages, but nothing pushy. The lunch was great, catering for a vegetarian, and our walk back and drive home were fine. Not particularly strenuous for anyone in a somewhat fit shape. Good shoes would help, but not necessary, mine had poor grip, but I managed fine. Very little waiting around compared to what we expected from reviews of group tours. Only criticism is aircon wasn't turned on in the car, but we didn't ask. Overall a good excursion.

Wunderbarer tagesausflug mit klasse Guide.

This tour is great to see the Atlas Mountains and to get an insight of the life Of berbers. Our guide abdel picked us up at our meeting point on time. While driving to the mountains he explained us many things and with a lot of details about maroccon life. If you don’t speak french he tells you everything in English again. After making a nice hike to the waterfalls with a local guide Jamal (no extra money needed but a tip is well seen) we proceeded to the other valleys and our next stop, the lunch at a typical Berber family house in the mountains. The lunch was great and we had a beautiful view from there. While driving and stopping at different viewpoints, Abdel is giving you a pretty good insight of the bad circumstances many Berber villages have and some political issues as well. However, he is very entertaining and kind! I would recommend the tour to everybody who wants to see as many things as possible within a day (but not exhausting!)

A nice way to see what’s outside of Marrakech

We are really happy that we used this as an opportunity to see the “world” just outside of Marrakech. The stop at the argan-oil-shop was okay, but nothing speciel. The trip to the Waterfall was really nice - but be adviced that it is quite a climb on small pathways on cliffs. The berber-house lunch tasted excellent and it was interesting to see such a house from inside. There is much colder in the mountains - 15 deegrees less that in Marrakech - so bring warm clothes. There are quite som long drives during the day, but of cause difficult to avoid when you are to see 4 Valleys. Nice landscape to see.

Wonderful tour into the Atlas mountains!

A great tour to get out of the city for one day and experience the majestic Atlas mountains as well as the Berber culture! As usual, such tours are greatly enhanced by the quality of the driver/guide! Our driver, Jamal, delivered an outstanding job, answering every question asked and providing a plethora of information! I particularly enjoyed the hike to the Ourika waterfalls, the views and lunch at the Berber family. I can recommend this tour highly and am looking forward to booking another tour at the next opportunity!

Excellent, informative, great guide, great lunch

Our guide Mido was excellent. He provided good information, was a very careful and good driver, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He offered us some additional stops of interest along the way which added to the success of the trip. I would recommend this trip to others although the waterfall excursion was somewhat challenging (some rock climbing and some poorly constructed wooden walkways).
