What people are saying about Marrakech

Great little walk around the mountains and insight into local culture!

Good value trip to see some of the countryside outside Marrakech. The stops on the way were good for photos of the views and the little oil production talk was interesting. Didn't feel pushed into buying anything, although did get a souvenir anyway. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we spoke in both French and English. I don't think we would have been able to learn as much if speaking in just English, but could have discussed most things without a problem. Again there were items for purchase on our walk to see the falls and around the villages, but nothing pushy. The lunch was great, catering for a vegetarian, and our walk back and drive home were fine. Not particularly strenuous for anyone in a somewhat fit shape. Good shoes would help, but not necessary, mine had poor grip, but I managed fine. Very little waiting around compared to what we expected from reviews of group tours. Only criticism is aircon wasn't turned on in the car, but we didn't ask. Overall a good excursion.

An exciting glance into the Moroccan culture.

In the beginning there was a little misunderstanding about the pick-up point (it never turned who misunderstood whom after all, but this can be easily improved, as the participants need to submit their phone numbers when registering to the tour, so somebody should store these numbers and call the participant real-time, if there is a misunderstanding) but our guide, Mustapha handled very well the atmosphere, he made sure that all participants felt comortable when we hit the road. The camel ride was super exciting and entertaining with authentic clothing and all, the stop at the argan cooperative was OK, but the product demonstration was a bit long for me, the tour in the mountains was like a travel to a hidden, mystic part of the world. Mustapha was very enthusiastic, as he was from that Berber region, so the info he shared was clearly coming from the heart. The waterfall is beautiful. The Berber Tajine by the local house was the best Tajine we had in our whole Moroccan trip.

Great fun, about 1.5 hours on bikes, 2 hours overall.

Crew was very nice, given liners for the helmets, tea stop was nice but nothing special. Blowing dust off everyone’s clothing at the end with an air compressor was a super nice touch - and felt great in the heat. Any mom’s worried about going - don’t! We are over 50, our boys loved it and my wife enjoyed her first time on a quad bike immensely! Shuttle driver from Marrakech was super nice and had an air conditioned van for six of us. We arranged at last minute after 9:30pm night before and all was handled smoothly. (Strongly recommend installing WhatsApp if you don’t have it for coordinating with local folks in Morocco!)

Very nice excursion for Berber villages and mountain hike

This excursion was lovely. Our driver Abdul was very friendly. We visited an Argan oil production site and a local market with him and that was great to see. The camel ride of 30 minutes was a bit too long though in our opinion. 10 minutes would have been enough. The hike was really nice, but beware that your condition must be okay to do it: Sometimes it were steep climbs and it was a 2 hour walk in total. The lunch in the local village was amazing with a wonderful view on the Atlas mountains. Would definitely recommend.

This trip was amazing! What a wonderful experience.

This trip was fantastic! Such an experience, riding camels in the desert and sleeping under the stars. definitely worth your money :) just keep in mind it is an 8 hour drive both ways (from Marrakech) so if you don’t do well with long car rides maybe this isn’t for you. Also make sure to take motion sickness medicine with you, lots of water, sunglasses and a scarf if you can (to avoid having to buy overpriced ones on the way). The facilities are very good at the camp.
