When I saw the 'priority' queue to Palazzo Ducale I almost had a heart attack, but don't get fooled, it goes quick. I was in within 5 minutes. (It's not so much of a priority queue, more like a pre-booked ticket queue.) I'm not a fan of guided tours, so this was perfect for me! It's also good to know, once you enter Museo Correr, you have straight access to the Bibliotheca and the Archeology Museum too - these 3 are all together.

I feel that the palace is worth visiting for anyone spending a few days in Venice. Not only do you get access to the palace but also the museum (which is on the other side of the square) and 2 other places, but we didn't manage to get to them. We skipped the queue that was forming outside the palace (which felt great as it was pretty long), no queue for the museum, but well worth the price.

Amazing, definitely worth the money and to pay the extra to jump the queue meant we could go for a drink to relax before going around the palace. It is a big place so was worth feeling fresh. Wonderful to see the history of the old Venetian empire.

Sad for the locals, but wonderful for us to wander round without being hassled by crowds of other tourists. Were able to view all the rooms and paintings in our own time. Missed having the audio guide, though the info in each room helped a bit.

Very easy to find. The queue is split with the skip the line and the normal line. It was very good to pass the long queue and get direct admission at the time I had specified. The palace is a must when in Venice. Full of history, art.
