What people are saying about Manaus
I have booked the 3-days tour and it was awesome! Seriously! The guides were super nice, knew a lot good places to see various animals and could tell us a lot about the nature, plants, indigenous people,... I felt welcomed since day one and enjoyed every minute there. This trip was the perfect combination of having exciting adventures and time to relax and get away from the stressed everyday life. It thought me that l if you kee life simlpe, it can be even more beautiful. I felt pretty sad when leaving the island, but will remember this trip forever!
This entire experience was wonderful! The staff at the Anaconda Lodge and the tour guides provided superb service and guidance during all activities. They knew exactly where to find all the animals so that we could get up close and personal with them. Our guide, Fabio, was a wealth of knowledge and was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this experience, this made my visit to Brazil incredible and unforgettable!
Spending the day with Milton exploring Manaus' fascinating rubber boom history was a definite highlight of our stay in the city! He knew his stuff and put together an interesting itinerary that included not only the well-known (and very impressive) opera house but also an outdoor museum of the rubber baron era to which we had to take a boat. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to know why Manaus is Manaus.
A peaceful place to hang out for a night or two. The accommodations are basic, but clean and comfortable. The food was a good as the scenery. Though close enough to Manaus that one can see it from the riverbank, the location still feels like the genuine heart of the rainforest. Well recommended.
Amazing experience, jungle lodge is beautiful, and exploring the Río Negro and the Amazon rainforest we saw some amazing animals and sights, including thousands of swallows flying out from the trees at once as the sun rose over the river. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
