Full description
Visit Caminito del Rey at your own pace with the best local guide, without worrying about tickets and transportation from Malaga port on a private trip for you and your friends or family. Travel in a local taxi, choose your departure time, and save money. This tour has been specially designed for anyone looking for the ultimate private yet affordable way to discover Caminito del Rey on a flexible full day trip with a private driver at your disposal from Málaga port.
Restored in March 2015, Caminito del Rey, formerly a service road, has now become one of the main tourist destinations in the province of Malaga. This tour is guided, which makes a big difference as the guide will explain to you the history of the area and tell you many anecdotes, making the journey extra interesting. The routes are 7.7 km and 10 km long, which make for approximately 3 hours of pure enjoyment in the beautiful Natural Park of the Gaitanes.
The El Caminito de Rey hike is spectacular the whole way from the Count of Guadalhorce Reservoir until its end at El Chorro Dam. Placed in unique natural surroundings, the path stretches between two gorges, canyons, and a large valley, all along pathways or boardwalks. The route is linear, not circular, and it goes in one direction, downwards from the north to the south. It begins in the Town of Ardales and then ends in Álora. The route is almost 8 km long and takes between 3-4 hours to be crossed.
