Full description
Start your adventure in the Paúl da Serra plateau, the largest one in Madeira and starting point for many beautiful canyons. The tour will focus on the Ribeira do Lajeado canyon, part of the Laurissilva Unesco World Heritage Site.

First, walk along the picturesque Levada do Alecrim for 30 minutes to reach the beginning of the canyon. Inside the canyon, find various rappels along the waterfalls with up to 25 meters in length. Thera are also multiple possibilities to jump up to 12 meters down into beautiful lagoons (optional).

After the last splash into the water, walk 40 minutes up a steep trail that brings you back to the starting point.
