Top attractions in Los Cabos
Los Cabos stretches along the southern coast of Baja California for about 30 kilometers. One of the most popular spa and resort destinations in Mexico, the area is brimming with beautiful beaches. Highway 1 runs through the Los Cabos corridor, making travel from city to city convenient. Along the coast, outdoor activities abound. Sportfishing is extremely popular, with guided tours available for novices or boat rentals by the day or week for more serious fishermen.
Travelers on a romantic getaway will want to experience the amazing horseback riding along the coast. Take a guided tour through the sand and into the shallow water, or strike out on your own for a few hours. A day trip touring the coast by horseback makes a great family adventure too!
When you need a break from the sun and surf, venture into Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo for a city tour. See historic monuments, bustling marinas, and absorb some real Mexican culture in the busy markets of the city. Perhaps best of all, authentic cuisine is waiting around every corner!
Both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo boast many wonderful art galleries. From sculpture, to photography, to paintings, to jewelery; there is art of all kinds to be found made by local up-and-coming artists. You might find yourself in the art gallery of the next Picasso!
Be sure to schedule some time in between the tours and activities to enjoy the beaches and spas too - Los Cabos is a wonderful paradise in which to simply relax!
What people are saying about Los Cabos
The crew pulled up the sails on the way back. We sailed for about 30 minutes. Very professional crew. Food very good also.
From man on-time pick up, until I was back at my hotel everything worked well. Both guide and driver knew their stuff and could put it over in a way that was easy to remember. Their humour was infectious. As far as the tour is concerned, the town of Todos Santos is definitely the star. The newly set up arts area is so interesting, some shops are just that, shops. In others you are actually taking to the carver, the painter, etc. Of course we spent time, and had an excellent lunch, at the legendary Hotel California. I'm definitely revisiting, and staying for longer than a few hours.
Our tour guide Dennis was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd definitely use them again for future tours in Cabo.
Upbeat guides! Lots of joking around. Very efficient and professional operation focused on safety. Excellent food at the end. Guides were compassionate and kind. Tanya and elCapitan were very supportive. All guides were encouraging and provided alternatives to some of the more challenging activities. Well worth the price.
Zacarius was kind, attentive, and informative. His knowledge of the local area and Mexican history made for a trip that was well worth it for kids and adults.
