What people are saying about London Victoria Station
The studios themselves delivered, but it was hard finding the right bus to go to. After some searching, we found gate 0 from the edge of the Victoria Coach Station. We were there early (an hour) and the previous tour (same company) was about to leave, so I asked the guide if this was the right place and if we had the right tickets. He told us we had the wrong tickets. After some 15 minutes of him trying to find his clients, I asked if he could maybe check, if he'd misunderstood something, so he called his boss (?) who told that, yes, in face, we had the right tickets. Which was a relief for others waiting as well, since they had tickets from GetYourGuide as well. Once that was settled, everything went pretty smoothly. The driver was funny and informative and like I mentioned, the attraction itself delivered. Truly an experience for any Potter-head or anyone interested in movie-making. Return was delayed (didn't matter to us) and we were late b/c pres. Trump. But 4/5 anyway.
The Warner Bros Studio tour was really great. We learned a lot and really enjoyed it. The bus transfer was adequate. We were to meet at Victoria bus station and were told on the documents to double check the meeting location when we got to the station. There was no way we found to check if the departure location was correct. We were to meet at 10:15 and while there were other people obviously waiting for the same transfer, there was no bus. By 10:30 we were all getting concerned that there was not going to be a bus as we had no idea what was going on. One of the other people booked on the tour was calling the company and after a lot of back and forth we discovered that the bus was late arriving because of traffic. There was no representative there to help or make sure the bus arrived on time so there wasn't anyone there to let us know what was happening. It seems for the cost for just the bus transfer itself, there should have been better service at the station.
All ran smoothly apart query over what time the coach left the station. Our departure time was not showing on the list of departure times on confirmation email but got resolved promptly via phone and email. Contrary to what I had read in other reviews there was lots of choice with very good food in the main food hall near entry/exit. Just burgers and hot dogs in cafe (and butter beer/ice-cream!) half way through the studios. Lovely day, would do it again and especially loved the CGI dragon in remains of Gringotts Bank! Coach driver and coach very pleasant too. Would recommend.
The tranfer to the studios was great, however 3hrs50 before departure back to London was not nearly enough for me to complete the tour, so I missed the bus and had to make other arrangements to get back into London, which was actually quicker! But the Tour was just AMAZING!!!
The ride was nice, the driver very friendly, bus was very clean but the tour is so extensive, we simply didn’t have enough time to really absorb what you were learning. If you’re a true HP fan, take an all day tour.
