All in all a very nice trip to rural Great Britain - charming villages and towns were visited. Unfortunately, there was only little time available everywhere (the longest was 1.5 hours, the admissions, provided that the bookings already run out of time). We had booked without admission and it was the right decision and: an hour for a lock is far too little and would not have been fun. Stratford upon Avon as a town itself is, in my opinion, more interesting than just Shakespeare's birthplace. Our guide Monica was super-sweet and told interesting stories and anecdotes, even in London even on the way home to shorten our time on the bus. I call that committed! It is a shame that you drive to the places for so long, that is of course missing when you actually visit the places. In my opinion, the castle could be left out entirely and more time in Stratford and Oxford could be planned.

Great sites, comfy bus, too little time

The audio equipment with the earphone was quite helpful for hearing the guide. The guide used excellent judgment regarding the weather, having us shop indoors until the rain stopped. He made sure everyone knew their way back to their hotels. It really wasn’t enough time in Stratford-upon-Avon. All the other tour companies do the same tour, though.

Everything was very good and that, as I expected from comments from other travelers, there was much more in English than in Spanish. The guide was British and maybe that's why she got a lot longer in the explanations she gave in her language. Otherwise well. Everything we visited was very beautiful and interesting. Although the entrance to Warwick Castle was optional, and when we realized following the guide we were already inside and we were charged the entrance when returning to the coach, without being told from where the visit was charged. The guide commented that we followed her since there were some toilets, and so we were inside the castle, that we did not realize that it was since it was an entire outdoor enclosure, we did not enter into any interior dependency at any time. .. Although it was worth the venue, I find it should be clearer since it is not a cheap ticket.
