Your overnight stop is Exmouth, a traditional coastal resort with golden sandy beach and delicious seafood available.
Start your day heading to Dartmoor National Park to spend a few hours exploring. Make a stop at the famous Clapper Bridge at Postbridge and a lunch stop in the market town of Tavistock, whose old streets radiate from Bedford Square and offer shops for every taste and need. Venture behind the Town Hall and discover the award winning and historic Pannier Market. Continue through Bodmin Moor, one of Cornwall’s designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and make your way to the coastal town of Falmouth to spend the next two nights.
Make your way to Mousehole to explore this beautiful fishing village's character and charm. Continue to Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre with breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Head west to Land’s End, England’s most westerly point to enjoy a cliff-top walk and take in the striking views. Your final stop of the day is in St Ives, before you return to Falmouth.
Head to Port Isaac, the filming location for Doc Martin. Even if you’re not a fan of the show, you’ll love this stunning village's picturesque white washed cottages. Next, visit Tintagel, legendary birthplace of King Arthur. Move on to Boscastle for lunch, the perfect place to enjoy a Cornish pasty! Continue to Ilfracombe for more impressive coastal views, and stop overnight in the bustling city of Bristol.
Dive into the Cotswolds, first to Cirencester, the largest town in the Cotswold District. Visit some of the smaller Cotswold villages and immerse yourself in the beauty of these limestone villages. Spend the afternoon in Oxford, bustling and beautiful with clusters of tranquility. Famous literary figures such as JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis and Oscar Wilde once walked the cobbled streets here.
