Enjoy a quintessentially English adventure, cycling the banks of the River Thames in South West London Zone 3, crossing the river 3 times and ending at UNESCO Royal Kew Botanic Gardens for a visit if you wish.

Cycle the route of the famous annual Oxford-Cambridge University Boat Race, where the two historic universities battle for supremacy. Look out for practicing rowing teams as you bike the quiet South West London sections of the river. Pass old riverside pubs, from Putney and hear the history of brewing in the area. Stop to enjoy shots of 6 Fullers' Ales at one of 2 locations (weekday or weekend) in the hometown of London Fullers beers and visit the brewery shop where you can buy souvenirs (closed on Sundays).

Enjoy a riverside pub lunch or bring a sandwich before finishing at the UNESCO certified Royal Kew Botanic Gardens if you wish or finish at Kew Bridge Train Station for trains back to the city center. Other options include a full-day tour if you wish to enjoy boat yards, a garden center set in the grounds of a 16th century stately home and an afternoon tea picnic.
