COVID-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Begin your journey into Westminster’s dark side by seeing the headquarters of policing in Victorian London and hear the story of a horrifying parcel that was found there. Quench your thirst before heading on to talk about two infamous deaths connected to Downing Street and the Palace of Whitehall.

Enjoying another drink nearby before exploring a narrow alleyway connected to Britain's most famous fictional detective. On your way to a railway station, stop at the site of a very real and gruesome event before your next well-earned pub stop.

Continuing the tour, learn about how the River Thames was moved in the 19th century and see a relic remaining from its previous course. Hear about a ghostly figure who met her demise in a grand riverside building.

Cross the Strand close to the Savoy and enjoy another drink as the tour enters "Theatreland" for tales of how Jack the Ripper's infamy spread to the West End in 1888 and how an actor was murdered on the evening of a performance.

Next, see the historic buildings of Covent Garden and hear about their unsavory history, including how a gang of grave robbers turned to murder. End your tour on a street of great importance to the history of policing in London and hear about one of Britain's most sensational early-20th-century murder cases before finishing with a final drink close to the world's most haunted theater.
