Enjoy a breathtaking panorama of up to 20 miles across London through stunning floor to ceiling windows before experiencing the city’s landmarks from the outside observation walkway suspended 262 feet above the ground. Discover sights including Wembley Stadium, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Canary Wharf and get an exclusive bird’s-eye view of the iconic sporting venues of London 2012.

Famously designed by Sir Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond for the London 2012 Games, the ArcelorMittal Orbit perfectly combines breathtaking city views, inspiring contemporary art and adrenaline-inducing fun. Get up-close to London’s landmarks with innovative and interactive touchscreens that will allow you to zoom into the view, learn more about the city and uncover the history of the ArcelorMittal Orbit. Discover more about Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the London 2012 Games and the sculpture’s artists through fun exhibitions and even interact with the art itself with Anish Kapoor’s two huge concave mirrors, where you can flip the horizon and have fun with the view.

And what goes up, must come down. Enjoy the gentle descent of the 455 steps that wind their way around the sculpture, experience the thrill of The Slide or brave the rush of the 262 foot free fall abseil – or why not try all three.

Good, but the weather was not so great, this affects the view. Since the trip was a surprise for our children, we did not book the slide, we were not sure if everyone dared. We had read that a booking may also be possible on site, shouldn't be too crowded. On the said day everything was fully booked, so we had to go home without thrills. Our tip: definitely book admission WITH a slide, even if you don't dare in the end. London is an expensive city anyway, it comes down to the £ 5-6 which may not be lost anymore. Our daughter and we are sad that we didn't get a chance, our son wouldn't have slipped.
