Full description
Meet your guide at 10:00 at your centrally located hotel and set out on an entertaining walking tour of London. Catch a double-decker bus and then walk along cobbled alleyways to reach the Strand and Fleet Street, which was home to Britain’s major newspapers until the 1980s. On this 3-hour tour that’s priced for up to 2 persons you’ll continue on to St. Paul’s Cathedral, the highest point in London for over 1,400 years. Rebuilt after the Great Fire of London, St. Paul's has hosted many notable national events including the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer. As you walk through London's oldest district, you’ll learn more about the Great Fire that reshaped the city, and hear about the Great Plague that killed a third of London’s population. Cross the Millennium Bridge and visit Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral, and see Golden Hinde II, Sir Francis Drake's famous galleon. Stop near London Bridge station, where you’ll learn how the Tower of London, the 11th-century stronghold of William the Conqueror, served as a palace, a prison, and a gruesome execution place. Hear the stories of prisoners such as Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII's unfortunate second wife, who met her end there in 1536. Your tour ends at London Bridge station.

Ridiculous, fraudulent and unprofessional tour (for $239) The guide was mumbling words with a very low voice and without even looking at us, making the understanding of what she was saying almost impossible. Evidently not trained for that job. I have asked to see her licence. I have received no answer as of now. She had troubles with directions, like she did not know the city. She kept telling us trivial stories that had no historical value and foundation. She brought us to markets that were closed (such as the meat market) She kept asking us what we wanted to see. We needed a guide because we wanted suggestions, not to give suggestions to her. Btw. I complained with “get your guide” multiple times. After several attempts, they have offered a 53 dollar refunds. After I told them that the refund was ridiculous and that I will take legal actions, they agreed to give me an additional 66 dollars to make to make the refund half of what I spent :) Stay far from this web site.
