Top sights in London
Originally built as a temporary structure to mark the millennium, London's magnificent ferris wheel remains one of the city's best-loved attractions to this day. Here are a few other top landmarks to try spotting from its 135-meter peak!
Look north to see Christopher Wren's crowning achievement. St. Paul's Cathedral was the city's tallest building from 1710 to as recently as 1962!
London's sights mostly lie north of the river, but some of its more humble are to the south, such as the iconic Battersea Power Station and the Oval Cricket Ground.
On a clear day you can see as far as Windsor Castle. It's the longest-occupied palace in Europe, and for good reason, too, if it's grand enough to be spotted from 40km away!
"Check the weather forecast before booking your tickets as the best time of day to visit is when London is least foggy. If you're not too bothered about picking out individual sights, then nighttime offers a completely different spectacle!

What people are saying about London Eye
Don’t miss this activity. A great way to see all of London and an entertaining ride. Skip the line tickets were definitely worth it and the can scan right from your phone. Super easy. You can buy pictures and souvenirs at the shop after and there is a park with playground nearby.
I was a bit shocked at the length of the queue when arriving. In reality the queue moved very quickly and we were soon loaded and lifting gently into the air. Really a pleasant experience affording great views over Westminster. Tip. There were very long queues for toilets at the ticket office. Just down toward lambert bridge there is another toilet facility with no queue
We booked online very easily just before 2 hours of riding it. We were ushered into the queue quickly and were into the ride in no time. People here were very polite and smiling. We could see almost all the london must see places (such as the river thames flowing across, big ben tower, etc from the top end of the london eye. A awesome experience !
If you are in London, an experience that you have to live. Perfect organization and coordination.
Loved the London Eye. I did it 20 years ago & have been able to bring my children on here to experience it. Was awesome.
