Full description
This fabulous total Beatles experience begins with a 2-hour guided walk from the waterfront to the Cavern Club. You will then visit the new Magical Beatles Museum on Mathew Street, curated by Roag Best - the brother of The Beatles original drummer, Pete Best, and son of Managing Director of Apple Corps, Neil Aspinall. The Magical Beatles Museum on Mathew Street in the heart of Liverpool is the world’s most authentic Beatles museum. It takes you on an incredible journey through the Beatles early days in Liverpool and Hamburg, their rise to worldwide fame, and their innovative studio years. You will marvel at more than 300 original items of memorabilia on display from letters to posters, film footage and props, instruments and clothes, furniture, and jewellery.

Your local, qualified tour guide and Beatles expert will then take you on a guided journey past the Eleanor Rigby Statue. You will see the former site of NEMS, the Beatles Manager's Brian Epstein's store, as well as visiting the White Star Pub. Having passed the famous Cavern Club, you will enjoy an easy level walk through the World Heritage Site passing the Town Hall Balcony where the Beatles made a famous appearance after their homecoming from their World Tour on to the stunning waterfront for selfies with the new Beatles statues in front of the iconic waterfront buildings and the Liver Birds.

The tours are led by a fun qualified tour guide and once bookings have reached a certain size then an extra guide will be used so that you will never be in a huge group and so your tour will be a very personal experience with lots of time to ask questions and take photographs.

Fascinating museum and very informative walk around the city

The museum is chock-full of memorabilia, most of it in the hands of the Best family. Very little duplication with The Beatles Story exhibition at Albert Dock so well worthwhile. We spent a full 2 hours there. The walking tour was also excellent and very informative. Loads more info than you could ever pick up from reading books and reviews (well done Doug!) The only hiccup was the meeting time - which was published as 11.30 but should have read 1pm! The website should have been updated to clarify that. Otherwise - great!

J’attendais cet visite depuis bien longtemps !!! Merci

Not very well organised. The details for the tour start said 12:00, but once we got there it turned out that it actually started at 13:00 - apparently we were meant to look around the Beatles Museum at 12:00 before the tour started, but the tour info didn’t say that. The tour finished in the John & Yoko exhibition in the Museum (which is actually free to the public), but involved us being rushed around the exhibition and missing out large parts of it. If we stopped to look at anything we were repeatedly asked to ‘please stick together as a group’.
