Full description
Leave the music city of Liverpooland travel to Wales on a 90-minute, fully-narrated journey arriving at Llandudno. Visit the 12th century hidden chapel of St. Tudno on the Great Orme. Next is the walled town of Conwy, constructed in 1283 with a fabulous 3/4-mile wall circuit. Go inside Conwy Castle, a gritty, dark-stoned fortress built by James of St. George in partnership with Frenchman Richard The Engineer.

Afterwards, head to Snowdonia National Park using carefully-selected, off-the-beaten-track routes with a stop at the so-called “capital of North Wales,” Betws-Y-Coed prayer house in the woods. Finally, take the unique opportunity to experience the Pontcysyllte Canal Aqueduct, built by Sir Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805. Prepare to be entertained and informed by your experienced guide and driver along the way.

This was a lovely day out in North Wales discovering some of the loveliness the country has to offer. This trip gives you a nice balance of beautiful nature, history, folklore, and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to others wanting to experience a little piece of Wales in a short time.

Northern Wales - yes please

Did the Northern Wales trip from Chester as there weren’t enough people out of Liverpool. Company reimbursed me the train ticket to Chester, which was great because I didn’t have to cancel this trip. Small group, which made the trip manageable in the van and in making sure we all got back on the van. Tour guide was GREAT. Personable, friendly, funny, helpful. I could tell he enjoyed giving this tour. Gorgeous scenery!!!! So glad I went!
