Full description
Your tour begins at Cais do Sodré, where the caravels route was built to discover Brazil and India. From the Cais Sodré, your historical boat the "Barco Evora" will venture towards the mouth of the Tagus River to see the most beautiful monuments dedicated to the triumphal period of these discoveries. You will encounter the Jeronimos Monastery, the Monument of the Discoveries and the Tower of Belém.

On the way back, you will have the opportunity to take beautiful photographs of the MAAT, Cristo Rei and the 25 de April Bridge until you reach one of the most beautiful squares in the world: Praça do Comércio (also known as Terreiro do Paço). This square was the site of the palace of the kings of Portugal for about 2 centuries.

From the Terreiro do Paço, you can see the whole of Lisbon's old quarter, complete with the São Jorge Castle, the Lisbon Cathedral (built in 1147), the historical districts such as Alfama, Mouraria and Graça, as well as the Church of Santa Engrácia (which was converted in the 19th century into the National Pantheon). It is at this National Pantheon where Portuguese figures such as Amália Rodrigues, João de Deus and Eusebio are buried.

The cruise was awesome. Our guide Celia, was very knowledgeable about the local history and made an effort to personally talk to each guest. We enjoyed the ship and it’s history as well. We had a glass of wine and later the bartender came up and gave us a refill. Blankets were also provided if you wanted.

For me, the boat trip was great! The sunset is beautiful and the host was very friendly, sweet and gave us all the right information that we wanted. A point of criticism is the welcome. You all come together to leave a place where several boats leave. The man who has everything in the right direction is very customer-unfriendly and does not give clear instructions. You understand that it's an uncontrolled mess. A tip: Provide some food or snacks on the boat (even if guests have to pay). Heard couple of guests complaining about the fact there was no food or snacks.

Nice walk with superb weather. The guide is super nice but the organizer could split up with a more substantial aperitif! A ticket for a drink at a low price is stingy !!! We expected something better on the APERO side. Otherwise, lower the price and put the optional beverages at a fair price! And for the French (or the Germans, or the OTHERS!), It would be good to provide a small text to distribute, we would read it during the course.
