Full description
Cross the bridge on a tuk-tuk to the south bank of the Tejo and savor the view on offer. The Bridge, which used to carry the name of António de Oliveira Salazar, is now called 25th of April, signaling the 1974 Revolution. You will see the Sanctuary of Christ the King, a monument from 1959 that imposes itself on the landscape, its arms wide open, celebrating peace.
The climb or pilgrimage will take you to a viewpoint where you will be able to see all of the Tagus Estuary.

Right after you will visit Casa da Cerca, a beautiful old mansion that was acquired by the city in 1988 and soon turned into a contemporary art center. You can fast peruse the exhibitions, which are mostly for local artists and updated every few months. Outside are creatively themed gardens dedicated to various flowers, cotton, lavender, rosemary, and a cherry plantation.
From the terrace, you can see Lisbon's skyline, Tagus River and 25 de Abril Bridge.

You will then go down to Cais do Ginjal in Cacilhas where you will find the Lisbon-Almada ferry terminal and a unique atmosphere for its decaying old warehouses and dreamy views. Finally, back to Lisbon, led by dolphins if you are lucky.
