Full description
On this tour learn about the history of Portugal and its capital Lisbon. You will get to know the historic neighborhoods starting with Chiado.

The tour starts at Largo de Camões and then heads to Chiado Square. From there, the path passes the oldest bookstore in the world. From Chiado, the tour continues down a picturesque staircase to Baixa, then to the places Restauradores and Rossio. After a glimpse of a stunning church and Moorish-style discoveries, the path will take you through the ornate main street of Lisbon's old town, Rua Augusta.

Walk through millennia-old history on this tour - from the historic market of exotic spices to the assassination of King Carlos and his son, the heir to the throne in 1908, to the so-called carnation revolution in 1974. The tour ends at the monument of King D. José I, where you can still get valuable information about typical restaurants, trendy squares and places of interest.
