Full description
After being picked up at the meeting point, you will proceed on to Óbidos to begin your tour. Óbidos is a village surrounded by a Moorish castle, a medieval construction that has resisted the tests of time, making it a very unique place. Here you will have the chance to drink the original "ginginha", and even bring a bottle home.
Fátima is the next stop, it is the most religious village in Portugal and has many secrets to tell you. Some legends associated with the sites beside the chapel might provide you with some hints as to which famous events might have occurred here in 1916. The Monastery of the Dominicans of Batalha was built to commemorate the victory of the Portuguese over the Castilians at the battle of Aljubarrota in 1385. It was to be the Portuguese monarchy's main building project for the next two centuries.

Here, a highly original national Gothic style evolved, profoundly influenced by Manueline art. Outlined by its masterpiece "the Royal Cloister", this UNESCO World Heritage property is a sight to behold. Afterwards, you will progress to Nazaré. Here you will discover a coastline village most famous for its fishing traditions, and with the help of a recent influx of trendy surfers, this place has become a blend of travelers and locals. Whilst here you will also discover the famous "Canyon", where the biggest wave ever was surfed. At the conclusion of your tour, you will venture back to the initial meeting point where your tour will conclude.
