Full description
Your tour begins at 8:30 or 13:30, depending on your choice, with a pick-up at your accommodation in Lisbon. On this private excursion you’ll visit the national monuments of Sintra, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the program provides time to explore the interior of some of the monuments.

The first stop is at the Queluz National Palace, a 18th-century palace inspired by Versailles, where one of the most beautiful and well-maintained french gardens in Portugal can be seen.

Next you’ll head to the center of Sintra, enjoying some free time to sample the typical Portuguese pastries at a tea house or make a short visit to the Village Palace. The Palace, a 10th century Moorish construction that has been transformed throughout the centuries and is now one of the most emblematic sites in Sintra, with it's twin chimneys overlooking the village.

Before heading to the Pena Palace, there is still an opportunity to see the 18th-century palace of Seteais and the Quinta da Regaleira, two iconic buildings in the area. Then the Moorish Castle and the Pena Palace and Park, before continuing on to Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe, where you can have a certificate of your passage through this point.

You’ll pass by Guincho Beach on the way to Hell's Mouth, a unique natural cluster of caves and tunnels in the sea, and then drive on to the Royal Village of Cascais. If time allows, you will take the scenic coastal route back to Lisbon and you’ll arrive back at your accommodation at approximately 13:00 or 18:00, according to your time selection.
