What people are saying about Lisbon

Be sure to have the phone no. of the guide on hand.

Guide was bubbley and overtly self-assured. He picked us up at the hotel with an assistant and explained the history with each site. We were dropped off for the Fado Show at 9:00 and he said he would come back for us at 11:30. At 10:20, we were the last people in the place. The waiters had cleared all the other tables. The performers were taking intermittent breaks. We felt like we should have left by 10:45 but we didn't have the personal number for the guide and neither did the restaurant. Guide showed up around 11:15 and took us around to see more of the sites until 1:00.

Lisbon: Authentic Fado Show, Dinner and Night Tour Reviewed by Paulette, 15/02/2018

Knowledgable guide, nice restaurant, professional fado musicians

We were the only guests in the second floor of the restaurant and therefore had 'private concert sessions'. So we could focus on the music, on the other hand we missed the 'concert ambiance' of a full room with enthusiastic audience... The finger food and the wine offered (included in the price) was of good quality. It was a nice evening and talking to the guide and the other tour participants we learned a lot about Portugal, Lisbon and Fado.

wonderfull ambiance, very good food, beautiful music, nice people

We've had a very special night in Alfama. We have met people from all over the world in the Alfalma Hostel that has a great hospitality! Felt and shared the emotion of the Fado music and had a lovely diner and tapas. Didn't want to miss this. And for this price I didn't expect this at all! Recommend it to everybody! Only the hostel is a bit difficult to find in the little streets wit stairs of the beautiful Alfalma district.

Fun, good music and a lot of conversation!

it couldn't be better, our guide Tiago was very helpful, and kept us entertained with an excellent knowledge about Fado music and Portuguese culture. Thumbs up!! A special thank you for GYG and Urban Adventure, I was supposed to have this tour on Apr/13, but I got sick and couldn't go, I asked to reschedule and they so kindly did for Apr/21. I loved the tour!

Lisbon: Evening Fado Show and Dinner with a Local Guide Reviewed by Anna Carolina da Silva, 26/04/2017

short professional performances in a comfortable venue

Found the venue without too much trouble, and our tickets were waiting for us in the ticket office. The show was punctual, both at the start and the finish, and all musicians were of a high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed the language and background scenes, and 50 minutes was probably long enough Consider ing the language difficulties.
