It's great that all shown machines are working and can be tested

It was very exciting that all exposed machines were exact copy of Da Vinci designs and can be tested how do they work right in front of you.

It's an exciting experience particularly if you have children for sure

There are several activity stations where children can build modules of wooden bridges and hexagons ...etc. plus the interactive displays of how many tools and machines were originally developed all made of wood that children can operate themselves. I recommend it as a stop for family to give their children time to play knowledgeable, especially that Rome is too much art and history and architecture for little ones which can get them very grumpy. A rest area for eating can be a good addition. I noticed there is the same museum in Venice as well!

Wet enjoyable and educational small museum dedicated to a genius.

This museum is a wonderful reprieve from the other massive museums in Florence. It was educational and interactive and enjoyed by the whole family.

1-2 hours of informative and interactive exhibits

Not an abosulte must see....But worth a visit and reasonably priced. There are good sources of information and you can pay for an additional audio guide. I don’t believe there were any original or authentic Leonardo exhibits only replicas designs prints and posters. Which was a bit disappointing. Also the staff were rude. Just waving us through the entry and not explaining anything or giving us the audio guide option. Also frustrating to have to download an app in order to use the e-ticket. Why not just send the ticket my email or PDF or add to apple wallet???

Fun interactive museum centered around Da Vinci's mechanical interest

Fun interactive museum centered around Da Vinci's mechanical interest. I would like to have seen more original work as there is not much here. However the interactive exhibits they have bring to live his drawings and some of his ideas. Does not go very deep into Da Vinci's art or other interests. If you have kids, plan on 2 hours. If no kids, this is a 1 hour stop but still very interesting for Da Vinci fans.
