What people are saying about Lake Wolfgang Lookout
Started the day at the meeting point and because we weren't slot of ppl we didn't drive with a bus but with 2 van that was separated for the English and Russian speakers. Our driver made a big difference for the trip! He was absolutely great! Entertaining, pleasent and informative. He stopped at a few point even some just for 5 min to see and get a picture which was great! At Salzburg the tour was fine. With 2 languages you had to wait at each place for the other language to finish. The tour guide was really nice. (At some point me and my wife decided to leave the tour, for time purposes, we ate lunch walked around and walked up to the view point of the city . All in all we are very happy we did this trip :)
We were very happy with our driver, Alex, he was most helpful and stopped at the best places for food and pictures. We had a local guide in Salzburg, and she took us around on foot to visit Mirabelle Gardens, Corn Lane, some lovely old cathedrals, and all things Mozart! We had free time to take the funicular up to the fort, from where you have a magnificent view of the city and canals. The lakes we stopped at were picturesque and serene, and Alex gave us time at Mondsee Lake to go down to the water and have fun in the sun, it was a memorable day and a smooth ride.
First off, the experience at Salzburg and the Alpine Lakes was really wonderful - especially the lakes. It’s gorgeous and well worth the trip. The only complaint is that the trip was 4-5 hours each way which we knew going in, but it was pretty intolerable because they had a speaker with the guide talking on an extremely loud setting the entire way there. Even worse, on the way back, they blasted the Sound of Music movie so we were unable to relax after a long day. Overall a nice trip but wouldn’t recommend if you’re sensitive to sound.
Very well organized. Great professionalism and presicion. I would prefer to have more free time in Salzburg. Only one hour is very little for 1 day trip. Also in the bus it is really tired and boring sometimes to hear the guide to speak non stop for 5 hours without being able to speak with your rest friends, especially when you have children.
Excellent!! i read many reviews, it a bit bad so i dont expect much. the driver name alex so funny, knowledge and could share many aspects. i did not prepare clothes properly. he give me his coat for me to borrow. i probably freezing if i dont have his coat. i feel comfortable with his service mind than other guides. highly recommend.
