Full description
Your 5.5-hour tour across Lake Balaton starts with an introduction to kayaking technique from your expert guide. Prepped for the adventure before you, you’ll hop into the water from below the historic Tihany Abbey, which was established in the 11th century. Paddle along the lush shores, gazing at the low-slung mountains and picturesque villages. Passing by the lake's completely undeveloped shores, get a glimpse into Balaton's flora as it once was, long before the area’s settlement.

After a few hours of light paddling, you’ll head to land for refreshments and a short break. Afterwards, head towards the Bay of Bàzsa, known for its vibrant marshes filled with gigantic fish and cranes. To cap off the tour, you’ll end at a beach, in perfect time for a little more relaxation before you head back to your car.
