What people are saying about Kutná Hora
We enjoyed this trip to Kutna Hora having seen the major sites in Prague in the preceding days. It was very chilled compared to the hustle and bustle of Prague. Our guide (Yana, I think), was very friendly, accommodating and informative. She gave us plenty of info but we didn't feel bombarded or rushed. The bone church was eerie and thought provoking. I'm not sure how the dead would feel about their bones being arranged in such a way. It came across as more of a tourist attraction than a holy place (I know there is a contradiction here but that is the impact of the experience). St Barbara's cathedral and Kutna Hora town centre were a lot more impressive. The food was bog standard but no complaints. Overall, the trip was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it if you want some restbite from the city
Absolutely fabulous day.our guide LIYM was so informative and a very nice guide. The day went with military prosition!. Transportation there and back was timed to the minute with no waiting around. Our group had lunch and within minutes we had our table and served in a very busy restaurant!.....
Very enjoyable tour, Adam was very knowledgable and great, he told us a lot of interesting history about both Kutna Hora and Prague. I would recommend this tour, and the restaurant Adam took us to for lunch was also great, serving delicious Czech food.
Kutna Hora is a beautiful city just outside of Prague, and is well worth visiting. Adam, our tour guide, was very personable and made the trip easy and enjoyable. Great value for money!
Felt it was too rushed. Would have preferred longer in the bone chapel and less time seeing some if the other sites. Did not feel it necessary to visit the mint for example
