What people are saying about Kuala Lumpur

A great Segway experience in a beautiful garden setting

We loved the Segway ride experience in the Lake Gardens thoroughly. Mr Lee who conducted this 2 hr ride through the various sections of the beautiful garden was very engaging, helpful and professional. Once our booking was confirmed, he was in touch with us over Whatsapp, guiding us with the logistics and ensuring that the ride started on time. He gave us a quick training on how to use the Segway machines in the parking lot and we were quite comfortable with them within a few minutes. He then took us on the tour of the gardens on the segways, with occasional stops at the various sections of this well laid out park. There was also a short break for having some ice cream or coffee at the local store within the garden. Some minor notes: 1. This activity is excellent if the weather is good. Rains or too much hot weather will take away the fun 2. The Segway requires you to ride it in a standing position and suspensions are not like in cars. So be prepared for some bumpiness.

Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens Nature Tour by Segway Reviewed by Syed Shakil, 02/07/2019

Our tour was outstanding and very enjoyable.

We booked a private tour with Ivy Holidays for Kuala Lumpur. We were greeted by Edward who arrived early and was very friendly and extremely accommodating. He had extensive knowledge of Malaysia and he was very informative indeed. We visited Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, the outlet and did a Kuala Lumpur city tour. This was our first visit to Malaysia and he made our day very enjoyable and we will definitely use the company again when we return to Kuala Lumpur and request for Edward and throughly recommend him to future visitors to Kuala Lumper.

Must see sights with an excellent guide!

This was easily the highlight of our trip! Even though it was a long drive, it never felt like it because our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so many insights and facts along the way. Abdul, our guide, went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience we could possibly have. He somehow managed to fit in an incredibly full day with multiple sights, and yet we never felt rushed. This was a great tour that was made so much better by the care and attentiveness of Abdul. Thank you so much!

Fantastic trip, excellent value for money!

We had an afternoon and evening free and so decided to have this trip as it combines a few things in a short timeframe. Our guide met us at centrally located hotel. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgable. He gave us great tips, useful and interesting information and was very chatty throughout the trip. We saw another Hindu temple and fed monkeys at Selangor, the dinner was tasty and fast. Firefly trip was lovely but take mosquito repellent!

Top little trip. Can thoroughly recommend.

I’m from the UK. Great tour guide. Hassle free experience. Got to see some cool shit that would have been a right hassle navigating on our own. If you are in KL for a short time do this. For sure. Pick up and drop off included. Complimentary water included. Full day activity for 25 quid. Can not say fairer than that. Also check out my YouTube channel ‘the ridiculous rhyme show’ if you’re into absolute nonsense.
