My favorite thing I have done so far in Berlin!

I cannot say enough about how much I loved this tour! Nicole is hilarious and a passionate storyteller. She did a great job bringing the history and culture to life in a very unique way. I am a writer and storyteller myself who is actually here doing research for a book. I took copious notes during the whole tour and learned so many things I want to follow up on. Plus, the value of this tour was spot on -- it lasted 5 hours! Thanks for a great afternoon, Nicole, and I can't wait to recommend this to other people. xo ~ Christy ~

Swen is a fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.

Swen was great with our group. Our group were mostly blind/partially sighted but this didn't phase Swen, as it had done with other guides we have had in Berlin. His description of everything was clear, and the many various food stops along the way were wonderful. Some food tours flatter to deceive, but we were well and truly stuffed by the end and impressed all the way through. I would recommend this tour, and Swen, to any future groups.

An amazing tour to discover the unkown side of Berlin.

Dave was a new guide for this tour. Even if it was his first time that he gave this tour, he had done an amazing job! The way he tells about every stop was very interesting. You could imagine exactly what he said because he told it with a lot of entoushiasiam. I would have never gone to these places alone where he took me to. But I am very happy I saw them.

Essential if interested in Queer Berlin.

Jarred/Gerard? was a wonderful guide. He had a wealth of knowledge much of it from lived experience. Sometimes womens history is inadaquately dealt with or almost absent on such tours but not this one. The politics of inclusion and the history of resistance was front and center. A must do tour if your interested in understanding social history.

Leader Carrie was so friendly and knowledgeable.

A most enjoyable tour - we really felt like we were seeing something of the alternative Berlin. Intriguing and refreshing! Cycling in the busier city streets could have been hair-raising, but Carrie was careful to keep us all together without us feeling we were being 'shepherded'. She really knew her stuff, too - an excellent guide :)
