What people are saying about Krakow

Fascinating, informative and well worth the visit.

What a great trip, our driver was very friendly and spoke good English. Once we arrived at the mine everything was very well organised, and our guide was very knowledgeable. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our trip well worth the visit. One thing to bear in mind is that you will need to be fairly fit as you will descend to 145 metres underground and it is all steps, hundreds of them but don't be put off as the lift back to the top is quite an experience. Go for it and enjoy.

Well organized, entertaining, must-do in Cracow!

I booked this tour for myself and my 2 English-speaking friends. I loved how easy it was to find the meeting point and how everything was well organized. There was no need for transportation since there are public buses running between Cracow and Wieliczka (bus stop: Kopalnia Soli). The Salt Mine was really fun and we learned a lot from the tour guide. I only wish we had more time to explore the mine but I guess these are the constraints of such a touristy place. Great tour!

Respectful and informative tour, excellent value for money.

We stayed at an Airbnb and still picked up outside, on time after a text instruction. We had a small mini van which showed an informative film on the 50 min journey. Our 1st guide was extremely knowledgeable and respectful throughout the camp tour. Lunch was enjoyable before the Salt Mines. Our guide here was also knowledgeable and the tour was incredible. We were picked up at 7.30am - back at 6.30pm. Would highly recommend this tour.

Very moving, with careful attention too some details

I found it a very interesting, absorbing and numbing tour. The guide was clearly very well informed and gave nuances that brought a perspective that was not immediacy apparent. One is left partly numbed, yet amazed that man can do this, and a great sympathy for the people, but very aware that our experience there is as nothing for what those poor people (yes, they were people) had to endure. I always felt rushed throughout the tour.

Educational and Emotional (worth every minute)

Konrad was our tour guide to the sites. He was informative and friendly. Our tour guide in the sites was an amazing guide. She explained each section with explicit detail. We will never forget this day and will share with others the exceptional experience. The history will be shared and never forgotten. Auschwitz should be shared with everyone and the actions never to be repeated in the future.
