What people are saying about Krakow

Very interesting with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide

We had booked the tour with fiat126 and the cars and guide arrived on time. In Nowa Huta we saw the Aleja Roza, the steelworks entrance with a guided tour in the adm.building including the shelters in the cellar. We ended up by Nowa Hutas church. Our guide told us about both the establishment of the city and the planning behind it, and did a very good job connecting its establishment in the 1950ies with what happened in the 1980ies with Solidarity, Pope John Paul II and the building of the church. Being a native of Nowa Huta, he obviously felt proud of his city and was enthusiastically engaged in telling its story. Highly recommended!

Disappointing service to an attractive place. Nice driver.

We contract "Zakopane & Tatras Mountains from Krakow WITH Options", but the travel agency offered only transportation and said it was WITHOUT options, in spite of seeing the voucher. We left about one hour late and had to buy the tickets to the funicular in Zakopane (2 x 22 PLN - total 10,55 € more) In fact, they said we had only a "transfer" to Zakopane, without funicular - and no Tatra Mountains.

Marek the careful driver and very informative guide.

A long drive through beautiful Poland wirh Marek giving us the 'extra' attention and information. A great help to us aho have yet not mastered the language. He showed us every detail accompaning us to order tickets for the raft and tram at the mountain. The clouds also lifted at the very time we wanted to see Tetra's highest peak! Marvellous 12 hours . Thank you Poland.

Quirky and informative tour on the model communist city project.

Ride around in a communist era car to see a time warp - the mostly abandoned showpiece headquarters of the new Lenin Steelworks. Our guide Mathew was very informative and nice and told us all the tidbits of life in his grandparents’ day. If you are interested in something different, this is a good tour for getting a feeling for life under the soviets.

Fantastic guide, awesome car and learned a lot as well.

I have to admit that we were very lucky, because we had a kind of private tour. It was just us and Matheuz and he knows everything about Nowa Huta. I was also impressed by the way the foundation tries to revive the old building and make them available to the public. Hats off!
