What people are saying about Krakow

Not quite what I expected but interesting musuem

Four of us (2 couples) recently visited. We had ordered our ticket reservation online but did not realize that we were supposed to redeem the voucher at the other end of town! Regardless, we were let in to the museum. I guess we didn't know what to expect and I was confused as I entered the museum, not sure what to look at or how to proceed. I was expecting more about the factory. The displays are well done, abit repetious, but the two men in our group really enjoyed and spent a long time there. I liked the video and helped us with the original story of factory. It's worthwhile but helpful to realize that this museum is really about the history leading up to the factory.

Humbling, informative and a real eye opener.

Booking and organising the trip with Get Your Guide was very easy and simple to arrange. The visit itself is a must if you go to Krakow - worth a watch of Schindlers List again as a bit of prep. Staff and guides at the museum were very informative and friendly. Give tour self plenty of time as there is lots to see and take in but worth it and the time does slip by quite quickly. Great experience.

Excellent tour if you visit Wieliczka Salt Mine

We booked the tour one week in advance and when we got there, it was easy to find the info tour, approx. 100 m down the road from the mine entrance. The woman guiding us was very professional, she told us stories about old family miners, we had visual effects in some areas of the mine, giving a very entertaining note to the tour.

Unexpected artistic treasures to delight you

This tour was recommended by family and friends, for good reason. Very pleasant and enjoyable, the only drawback being the length of the tour (at 2 hours 40 minutes) which means that you are tired and hungry by the end. In my opinion, a tour of 2 hours would be ideal.

A fascinating insight into Krakow history during Nazi occupation

As first time visitors to Krakow we needed to know it's history, but we were amazed that it took 3 hours to take in all the information in the Schindler's factory museum. Consequently we didn't have time to visit the other two museums, but we will be back.
