Full description
Especially for enthusiasts of interior design, the Hipolit house appears as if time has stood still. As if the lady of the house simply went for a walk, and the man of the house went for a meeting in a fashionable Krakow cafe, never to return. You will be able to enter their home and learn a little about hoe they lived, what objects they used and what furniture that decorates the interior of their house.

Known as a house of "wealthy citizens", this is how the exhibition in the Hipolit House can be summarized. The exhibition includes the office of a wealthy burgher from the 17th century, the collector's room (a collection of works of art and the pride of every host), the Rococo bedroom (a delicate decor that will appeal to every lady), grandma's room from the 19th century (cluttered and old-fashioned, but still cozy) and a young lady's room which is modest and simple.

You will also discover a dining room complete with table and sideboard which was the centum of family life, as well as a living room (complete with piano) and bedroom. Step back in time and absorb dated and charming decor with this unique self guided tour!
